Jacqueline M. Roberts
VP Customer Care and Implementation Services
Jackie is responsible for the customer care and implementation services for DATAForge™ LLC. Her responsibilities include the structure and implementation of new customer initiatives as well as existing customer development activities. In 1995, she began her career with PPI Technical Communications LLC, a division of DATAForge™ LLC, starting in the Technical Documentation Group and then on to the Customer Account Manager and Operations Manager.
Jackie developed her expertise in indirect material data management by supporting General Motors’ Worldwide Facilities, Global Manufacturing Engineering, and Global Purchasing and Supply Chain business unit projects. During this time, Jackie developed a deep expertise in indirect material planning, inventory management, and cost-saving initiatives.
Jackie holds a BS in Industrial Design. Her experience with operations management and insightful understanding of data management yields a distinctive, phased approach for implementing new and continuous improvement strategies. Through the consistent application of this approach to complex data models, DATAForge™ LLC clients are assured successful results.
Carl Hamlett
Manager Customer Care and Implementation Services
Carl participates in the customer care and implementation services for DATAForge™ LLC. His responsibilities include system designs, structure and implementation of new customer initiatives, and existing customer development activities. In 1987, Carl began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps as an aircraft maintenance data analyst where he recorded, analyzed, and reported to senior officers on aircraft maintenance performance and availability. After his honorable discharge, Carl managed the logistic systems and data processes for an automotive direct material supplier, personally controlling on-time shipments and inventory. Carl then worked for General Motors in the body shop maintenance department of an assembly plant—a highly automated and systems oriented environment.
At General Motors, he developed new processes and corresponding systems for recording and reporting maintenance activities. While there, Carl gained his certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional for Networking and Maximo Certified Systems Administrator. In 2002, Carl came to PPI Technical Publications LLC and began managing the indirect material data for new product launches for General Motors Global Manufacturing and indirect material parts processing for General Motors’ Worldwide Facilities Group. He has also played a key role in data management process development and design of supporting systems. Carl’s 20 plus years of experience in systems, industrial maintenance processes, and material data management provides uncommon expertise available to DATAForge™ LLC clients.
Steve Thomas
Major Account Manager
Steve is an account manager for our major clients and runs the daily operations of the DATAForge™ LLC Troy, Michigan, office. He began his career working for the Ford Motor Company as a line supervisor in the body assembly area. Taking on a variety of challenging assignments, Steve acquired extensive experience in many areas of the manufacturing industry. Working for General Motors for over 12 years, Steve expanded his knowledge of the industry through assignments in quality engineering, process control, and maintenance planning. As a spare part launch coordinator, Steve played an integral role in the development of a state of–the-art process for ensuring the timely delivery and high accuracy of critical maintenance documentation to assembly plants. After joining DATAForge™ LLC in 2008, Steve has continued to apply his talents to ensure successful project execution while exceeding the expectations of our customers.
Steve's bachelor degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Michigan highlights his personal drive to develop skills across a wide range of disciplines. Drawing on the diversity of his educational and professional experiences, Steve has established himself as a valued contributor to the DATAForge™ LLC mission—to provide our customers with the highest quality data management and technical services, through innovation and an innate understanding of the customer’s needs.
Kia Jackson
Major Account Manager
Kia began her career with DATAForge™ LLC in September of 2004. She serves as a Global Account Manager for major clients. Her responsibilities include assisting the client in IT procurement fulfillment, managing assets, and administering databases and processes. Due to her contributions, successful practices and new initiatives were instrumental in acquiring additional business for the company.
Kia offers a range of skills acquired from over 16 years of employment in customer service, leadership, sales, and project management. Her educational background in economics and business administration is the foundation for her ability to provide project success and define cost effective processes while delivering great service.
