ECCMA

eOTD
eOTD is an acronym for ECCMA Open Technical Dictionary. eOTD has also been used as an acronym for electronic Open Technical Dictionary. eOTD is the key facilitator in the delivery of unambiguous product and service descriptions. eOTD utilizes public domain concept identifiers attached to each word or term that makes up a product or service description. These concept identifiers, once assigned, can be used to transmit the product or service data to any entity ready to accept it, and in turn render the description exactly as it was sent, without human intervention. The eOTD is maintained by ECCMA and it’s member organizations. http://eccma.org/AboutUs.php |
