Job Summary:

Verify information with manufacturers and suppliers and input information in a structured format into a mainframe system. Detail-oriented and systematic management of manufacturing information.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand spare parts to manage the accuracy of detailed characteristics for setting up the descriptions for searching and ordering
• Verify vendor information (company name, OEM part number, contact information, etc.)
• Maintain a record of all vendor communications
• Maintain and update part information web based software
• Matches to item data that is verified and assigned to a location in customer purchasing system
• Data processing in customer purchasing system by assigning product classification, attributes, etc.
• Setup ordering and inventory information in customer purchasing system

Computer Experience Required:

• Microsoft Excel – Create, edit spreadsheets, using filters and formulas, format for printing
• Microsoft Word – Create and edit documents
• Must have extensive knowledge of internet searching
